Charge density of light exotic nuclei and ρNN tensor coupling
نویسنده
چکیده
We use a relativistic mean field model to study the charge density distributions of exotic oxygen isotopes. Nonlinear isoscalar-isovector terms which are not constrained by the present data are considered and the ρNN tensor coupling that does not affect the symmetry energy in the mean field model is included. Strong correlations between the neutron radius of Pb and the charge radius of O are found. The ρNN tensor coupling explicitly enhances the radius correlations between O and Pb. This enhancement is due to the neutron occupation of the orbital 2s1/2. The charge radius is sensitive to the change of the density dependence of the symmetry energy as the isotope goes towards the proton drip line. PACS: 21.10.Ft, 21.60.-n, 27.30.+t, 27.20.+n

Relativistic Continuum Hartree Bogoliubov Theory for Ground State Properties of Exotic Nuclei
The Relativistic Continuum Hartree-Bogoliubov (RCHB) theory, which properly takes into account the pairing correlation and the coupling to (discretized) continuum via Bogoliubov transformation in a microscopic and self-consistent way, has been reviewed together with its new interpretation of the halo phenomena observed in light nuclei as the scattering of particle pairs into the continuum, the ...
متن کاملAntimalarial Activity of some Conjugated Arylhydrazones: Ab Initio Calculation of Nuclear Quadrupole Coupling Constants (NQCC)
“Malaria” is a life-threatening blood disease in tropical regions that spreads by the bite of the Anopheles mosquito. Antimalarial medications are designed to cure or prevent this infection, and prosperous achievements in this area mostly depend on the knowing the drug-receptor interactions and active sites of medicine. This improvement can be achieved through understanding the electronic struc...
متن کاملThe dielectric function excited by ρNN tensor coupling in nuclear matter
The dielectric function of nuclear matter excited by ρNN tensor coupling has been studied in the framework of Finite temperature field theory. The induced current mechanism has been introduced to explain the three extrema on the dielectric function curve, of which one is in the space-like region and the other two are in the time-like region. It points out that the tensor coupling contributes mu...
متن کاملA theoretical study of benzaldehyde derivatives as tyrosinase inhibitors using Ab initio calculated NQCC parameters
Tyrosinase is a multifunctional copper-containing enzyme. It can catalyze two distinct reactions of melanin synthesis and benzaldehyde derivatives, which are potential tyrosinase inhibitors. To find the relationships between charge distributions of benzaldehyde and their pharmaceutical behavior, the present study aimed at investigating nuclear quadrupole coupling constants of quadrupolare nucl...

We study the two point correlation function of two nucleon currents sandwiched between the vacuum and the rho meson state. The light cone QCD sum rules are derived for the ρNN vector and tensor couplings simultaneously. The contribution from the excited states and the continuum is subtracted cleanly through the double Borel transform with respect to the two external momenta, p1, p 2 2 = (p− q)....
